Material & Production Planners

Job Details


To participate in the efficient and effective running of the logistics function including managing Material Release Planning (MRP), managing material and logistics suppliers and updating of the current ERP system in use.

Responsibilities for an HR Generalist include:

  • Production Scheduling as required

  • Ensure MRP runs in line with the defined cycle

  • Check MRP action and error messages prior to schedule update

  • Work with suppliers and internal customer(s) to execute an optimal logistics plan

  • Work with manager on scheduling, performing, and finalizing all physical inventories

  • Provide support in any number of areas of logistics including:
    - Inbound freight planning
    - Contract management
    - Parts and material procurement
    - Inventory control
    - Outbound transportation

  • Participate in stock take activities (I.e. Cycle Counting, API, etc.)

  • Additional duties as required
